Chloe White is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and photographer and director of Whalebone Films and Whalebone Workshops.

Her films are intimate, considered portraits, focusing mainly on the female experience. Her directorial debut, feature documentary 1001 DAYS premiered at IDFA and Sheffield Doc Fest.

Her clients and partners include the Guardian, Topic, Al Jazeera, Nowness, BBC, Channel 4, Oxfam, Save the Children and the BFI. She has had films screen at festivals internationally including at IDFA, CPH DOX, Camden International Film Festival, Open City, Hot Docs and Sheffield Doc Fest and is a winner of the prestigious Macdowell fellowship.

Chloe lectures in Documentary Film at the University College London and London College of Communications, and lives in Hastings, UK.
